Security forces achieved another major success after discovering a Maoist camp during a search operation on Parasnath Hill under Madhuban police limits in Giridih district of Jharkhand on Tuesday.

The joint operation was carried out by the Giridih police along with the 154th CRPF and COBRA battalion following intelligence inputs about Maoist presence in the area.

As per reports, during the operation in the forest areas of Satkatiya village and Jiriobera, the security personnel seized a large quantity of Maoist materials that was hidden earlier by Naxals.

The seized items included 170 metres of fuse wire, 161 igniter sets, three live bullets of 8 mm, Naxal rubber stamps, Naxal flags, and several Maoist documents. The operation is still continuing in the Jiriobera forest and nearby villag
