Four different players found the back of the cage for seventh-seeded Roxbury as it defeated 10th-seeded Wayne Hills 4-1 in the first round of the NJSIAA North Jersey, Group 3 Tournament in Succasunna.
After a scoreless first quarter, Roxbury took the lead in the second quarter off of a goal from Brooke Franetovich.
Juliana Billings, Sarah Pisarczyk and Ava Pennisi each added a goal for Roxbury (12-7-1).
Goalie Halima Gaber had 10 saves for Wayne Hills (11-8).
Roxbury will advance to the quarterfinals where it will play the winner of the Chatham/Millburn game on Wednesday.
