Viswashkumar Ramesh, the lone survivor in the tragic Air India plane crash on June 12, which killed 241 people, revealed that he is a broken man, even as he admitted that his escape was a miracle.
When the London-bound Boeing 787 Dreamliner came down seconds after the take-off from the Ahmedabad airport, 40-year-old Ramesh, an Indian-origin British citizen, was the only passenger who walked away alive. His brother Ajay was among the 241 others on board who died in the crash, along with 19 persons on the ground.
Ramesh, who is struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), has been unable to even talk to his wife and son.
He said his brother, who died in the Boeing 787 flight crash, was his "backbone."
