PROVO, Utah (ABC4 Sports) - For the first time in school history, the BYU football team will face a top-10 team as a top-10 team when the 8th-ranked Cougars travel to #9 Texas Tech this Saturday.

ESPN College GameDay will be in Lubbock this weekend, as the undefeated Cougars have a chance to really solidify its place atop the Big 12 Conference. But they're not getting caught up in all the hype.

"Don't get distracted by the outside noise, by the national media, by us being ten and a half point underdogs," said BYU safety Tanner Wall. "There's so many factors that if we give too much attention to, it can be really distracting and ultimately become detrimental."
