Pumpkin contest

The Brooke County Public Library held its annual pumpkin decorating contest on Oct. 18. Pumpkins were supplied by Fonces, while supplies and snacks were provided by the Wellsburg Moose Lodge. Judges and trophies were provided by the Brooke County Friends of the Library. The contest was broken down into age categories, ranging from ages 3 to 4, 5 to 6 and 7 through 9.
