CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Guardians’ historic comeback in the 2025 season did not go unnoticed by the voters of the Baseball Writers Association of America. That’s not a shock, since they rallied from a record 15 1/2-game deficit in July to win the AL Central on the final day of the regular season.
In the wake of that rally, third baseman José Ramírez and manager Stephen Vogt were named finalists for the AL MVP and the AL Manager of the Year awards, respectively.
