Imphal, November 03 2025: In a major political development, many individuals led by Samjetsabam Mangoljao, Makakmayum Ibosana and Oinam Openjit joined the Democratic People's Front (DPF) ManipuronMonday.

The new supporters of the DPF Manipur were felicitated during a simple function held at Hotel Yaiphaba, Thangal Bazar.

Notably, Samjetsabam Mangoljao will be contesting the forthcoming 13 th Manipur Legislative Assembly election as a DPF candidate in Uripok AC while Makakmayum Ibosana and Oinam Openjit will be representing DPF in Wangkhem AC and Konthoujam AC respectively.

The reception cum induction programme was attended by DPF Manipur president Dr Rajiv Kumar Narengbam, founder member Hidangmayum Bidyakumar Devi, vice president Paonam Sundar and other senior members of the party.
