India’s Smriti Mandhana, Jemimah Rodrigues and Deepti Sharma have been named in the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 Team of the Tournament.
The trio is joined by six other international stars: South Africa’s Laura Wolvaardt, Marizanne Kapp, and Nadine de Klerk; Australians Ashleigh Gardner, Annabel Sutherland, and Alana King; England’s Nat Sciver-Brunt and Sophie Ecclestone, and Pakistan’s Sidra Nawaz.
Mandhana and Wolvaardt, who faced each other in the final, are chosen as the opening pair. Wolvaardt led the tournament with 571 runs at an average of 71.37, making her the highest individual run-scorer in ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup history, aided by her consecutive centuries in the semi-final and final.
