BOSTON — Jaylen Brown ripped officials Monday night after a controversial no-call in the Celtics 105-103 loss to the Jazz at TD Garden.
The All-Star was attempting to isolate on Jazz guard Keyonte George with 47 seconds remaining in regulation and Boston clinging to a 102-101 lead. George slipped while trying to defend Brown at the top of the key and appeared to trip Brown as the Celtics star attempted to dribble past the Jazz guard. Officials did not call a foul on the play, and Utah took advantage with Walter Clayton Jr. collecting the loose ball from Brown and finding Lauri Markkanen for the go-ahead basket with 44 seconds remaining on the fast break.
Brown did not hold back when asked about the sequence after the loss.
