Aldi will open 16 new stores before Chfistmas 2025 - and the first will go live within the next couple of days. The supermarket chain said the wave of outlets will all open between Thursday November 6 and Friday December 12.

New locations include Liverpool, Kirkintilloch in Scotland, Cheadle in Staffordshire, Billericay in Essex and Kentish Town in London. The UK’s fourth-largest supermarket is investing £650 million across Britain through its store opening and refurbishment programme in 2025, with each new site creating around 40 jobs.
