The 2025 Melbourne Cup has been run and won with Half Yours racing away from his rivals late to win convincingly.

Jamie Melham has had a stellar spring carnival and on Tuesday, she capped a remarkable two and a half years since her career almost ended in a horror fall.

There were a number of stars at Flemington, but there were also just as many disappointing performances.
