A Bellshill opticians are inviting local customers to get into the giving spirit this festive season by asking for donations of new, unwrapped toys and gifts for children who may not receive a gift this Christmas. ‌

Specsavers, located on Main Street, will be collecting gifts throughout November, which will be distributed to local families in need through the Bellshill Salvation Army, as part of the charity’s Christmas Present Appeal. ‌

The last day for dropping off presents via the store’s drop off point is Saturday, November 29. ‌

Specsavers Bellshill will also be hosting a children’s colouring competition in December for the chance to win a special festive prize.
