PDP’s Budgam candidate Aga Muntazir served notice over alleged MCC violation

Budgam: People’s Democratic Party candidate for the Budgam bypoll, Aga Syed Muntazir Mehdi has been served a show cause notice for allegedly conducting late-night political rallies without permission in the constituency.

According to the notice, Nodal Officer for the Model Code of Conduct stated that they have received multiple reports and complaints alleging that the candidate organised campaign events and processions during late night hours on November 1 and November 3, without prior approval from competent authorities.
