People has named British actor Jonathan Bailey as their “Sexiest Man of the Year.” The news was revealed on The Tonight Show by host Jimmy Fallon , who called out Bailey’s work this year in both Wicked: For Good and Jurassic World Rebirth .

“It’s an honor of a lifetime,” Bailey told Fallon. “And I want to say, Jimmy, thank you so much for turning it down so that I could be here.”

Fallon asked Bailey if it was difficult to keep the news a secret, but Bailey said it was “surprisingly not.”
