WOODLAND HILLS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A water main break created a massive sinkhole in Woodland Hills on Monday.
It happened just before noon near El Camino Real Charter High School at the intersection of Valley Circle Boulevard and Mariano Street.
A six-inch cast iron water pipe burst, causing water to initially flood the intersection before collapsing the street.
Valley Circle Boulevard was closed from Burbank Boulevard to Canzonet Street as crews continued to try and fix the sinkhole.
It's unclear when the closures will be lifted.
