Bihar assembly election 2025: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday slammed the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) for knocking the door of election commission against the transfer of Rs 10,000 in the accounts of Jeevika Didis. Addressing a rally in Darbhanga, he said that RJD reached out to ECI to “snatch” this amount from Jeevika Didis (women associated with Self-Help Groups under the Jeevika program).

“Recently, Modi ji and Nitish Kumar ji have transferred over Rs 1 crore (Rs 10,000 each) into the bank accounts of Jeevika Didis. But what’s shocking is that the RJD has written to the Election Commission of India to take back this amount from them,” he said.
