Lucknow : In a major news announcement by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanat, rice mills across the state will receive 1 percent recovery rebate for non-hybrid paddy threshing. The decision will help nearly 13-15 lakh farmers and more than 2,000 rice millers.
The chief minister also announced a package of Rs 167 crore under the package. The step has been taken with an aim to speed up the paddy procurement process and also boost investment in the agriculture sector in the state.
The step will help in employment opportunities
