It was a wholesome moment for Malayalam cinema fans as two legends, Mohanlal and Mammootty, shared yet another display of mutual respect. Soon after the 55th Kerala State Film Awards were announced, Mohanlal took to social media to shower love on his “Ichakka" Mammootty, who won the Best Actor award for his performance in Bramayugam.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Mohanlal wrote, “Heartfelt congratulations to all the winners of the Kerala State Film Awards! Special love to my Ichakka for winning Best Actor (sic)."

He also celebrated other winners from the Malayalam film fraternity, adding, “Congratulations to Shamla Hamza for being honoured as Best Actress, and to Chidambaram for the Best Director award. A huge round of applause to Manjummal Boys for winning B
