PlymouthLive readers have joined with Argyle manager Tom Cleverley in voicing their frustration after the Pilgrims were knocked out of the FA Cup by Wycombe Wanderers.
Argyle suffered a 2-0 defeat at Adams Park on Saturday, with Cauley Woodrow scoring twice in the second half. The loss marked Argyle’s fourth straight defeat across all competitions.
Tensions flared at full-time, with a video showing goalkeeper Conor Hazard and striker Lorent Tolaj trying to calm angry away fans before being led away by teammates. One fan can be heard hurling abuse at the players.
Speaking to BBC Radio Devon, Cleverley said the performance was “hugely disappointing.” He added that the team failed to show confidence or quality on the ball and struggled physically against their League One opponents. C
