LAWRENCE — Kansas football rebounded this past Saturday with a 38-21 win at home against Oklahoma State in Big 12 Conference play.

The Jayhawks (5-4, 3-3 in Big 12) ended a two-game losing streak with the victory. They dispatched a Cowboys squad that would have handed them a confounding loss of the season, had they not been able to pull away in the second half. It renewed the optimism around the KU program, too, that a bowl game is possible.

However, moving forward with that goal of reaching a bowl game doesn’t answer all questions from Kansas ’ latest outing. That’s especially true, given the Jayhawks are now about to go on the road and face an Arizona team this upcoming weekend that’s much improved this season. An opportunity to clinch bowl eligibility can’t be overlooked.
