Kash Patel has been in the headlines across the past couple of weeks because of accusations that he used an FBI jet to fly to State College to watch his girlfriend perform prior to a Real American Freestyle event on Oct. 25.

For folks who don’t know, Patel’s girlfriend is country music singer Alexis Wilkins. The uproar around Patel’s use of the jet grew to such a point that he issued a statement on X.

After writing that he was proud of the work that the FBI was doing, he got into the controversy about his trip … sort of.
