HENDERSON, Ky. — It might look like just another road project to some, but to Bud Majors the Henderson approach to the Interstate 69 Ohio River Crossing bridge project is a Godsend.
Monday began with a ribbon-cutting featuring Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear, attended by some 300 people, on the new roadway that connects the new U.S. 41 interchange to the new U.S. 60 interchange. The nearly 2.5-mile-long stretch will eventually lead traffic to Interstate 69. Beshear and others at Monday's ribbon-cutting said it will be a key connector on the new corridor.
