Lily Phelan-Fonseca had a goal and two assists as seventh-seeded Morris Catholic defeated 10th-seeded Dwight-Englewood, 4-0, in the first round of the North Jersey, Non-Public A tournament in Denville.
Morgan Fitzpatrick and Victoria Phelan-Fonseca each added a goal and an assist for Morris Catholic (12-7). Ryla Smith scored a goal and Riley Fitzpatrick made six saves for the shutout.
Morris Catholic plays second-seeded Mount St. Dominic, No. 5 in the NJ.com Top 20, in the quarterfinals on Thursday.
Dwight-Englewood falls to 4-14.
