In a major political development, parties and leaders from across the Northeast have united to form a singular political entity aiming to voice the region’s concerns and represent people’s aspirations. The alliance comprises key figures such as Meghalaya CM Conrad K Sangma, BJP spokesperson Mmhonlumo Kikon, TIPRA Motha leader Pradyot Manikya, and Daniel Langthasa of the People’s Party of Assam.

The platform seeks to embolden the Northeast’s leverage on issues like autonomy, infrastructure development, resource sharing, and cultural preservation. This marks a rare show of unity, moving beyond the party lines.
