OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Tuesday will start in the 40s with quickly decreasing clouds. That leaves us quite a bit of sunshine for the remainder of the day. That should allow us to hit 70 for a high later this afternoon!

Light south wind won’t really be much of an issue either so enjoy what looks to be a wonderful Tuesday. Tonight you may notice the wind pick up some, especially heading towards Wednesday morning with some gusts near 30 mph possible. Those should quickly fade into the afternoon though.

It will be a cooler day Wednesday even with abundant sunshine. Highs in the 50s are likely by mid afternoon. Warmer 60s are likely by Thursday afternoon. There is a lot of back and forth this week due to changing airmasses and wind directions but nothing is expected to get all that cold until th
