A beloved family-run butchers in the south of Glasgow has been crowned Scotland's finest at a prestigious awards ceremony this year. ‌

Thomson Bros Butchers, located on Fenwick Road in Giffnock, were thrilled to receive the Best Butchers in Scotland accolade at the Scottish Business Awards Show. ‌

Giffnock is an affluent suburban town in East Renfrewshire , four miles east of Barrhead and six miles east of Paisley , on the southern border of Scotland's biggest city. ‌

Expressing their joy on Facebook, the shop, loved by the community, posted a celebratory photo and wrote: "We won! We couldn't have done it without you all. Thank you to every single person who voted for us."
