In a landmark move that might alter the political landscape of Northeast India, Meghalaya Chief Minister and National People’s Party (NPP) National President Conrad K. Sangma, Tipra Motha founder Pradyot Kishore Debbarma and a few other senior political leaders today announced the formation of a new regional political party to fight for the welfare of the people of the region collectively and speak in one single voice.
