Video shows a fire that broke out early Tuesday at an Aventura apartment building, prompting evacuations.

The fire was reported before 4 a.m. in a fourth floor unit at the Canongate building on Northeast 195th Street, where footage shows bright orange flames and heavy smoke.

The building was evacuated, and residents on the fourth and fifth floors are unable to return.

"There was smoke everywhere and I could smell the fire, so I ran to my balcony. I was like, alright, we gotta get out of here. So I grabbed as much stuff as I could and I just ran out," one woman said.

No injuries were reported, according to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.
