JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Officers with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office found a man shot and killed at a Jacksonville hookah lounge Monday night after the shooter called 911 reporting the incident, according to the sheriff's office.

According to JSO Sergeant J. Catir, patrol officers responded to Medusa Lounge, located at 9551 Baymeadows Rd., in reference to the shooting just before 10 p.m. Monday.

While on the way, Catir said officers learned from dispatch that the shooter was still on scene and was the 911 caller.

When they arrived, Catir said officers detained the shooter and canvassed the area. During the canvass, Catir said officers found the victim with "at least one gunshot wound." Members of the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department then responded to the scene and pronounced the
