Recently, a medical professional’s thoughts about how people experience holidays sparked a conversation on the internet as she pointed out how travel nowadays has completely lost the purpose to rest and rejuvenate.

On November 3, Dr Sunita Sayammagaru shared in a post on X how people these days treat holidays as a to-do list and look forward to visiting as many locations as possible, rather than actually enjoying the overall experience.

“People now-a-days go on a holiday and come back tired! We go on a holiday and come back relaxed," Dr Sayammagaru wrote.
