New Delhi: Will he, won’t he? Cristiano Ronaldo’s availability for Al Nassr in their AFC Champions League Two home clash against FC Goa remains a mystery.
Ronaldo skipped the first leg travel to India on October 22, presumably with an eye on workload management and could sit out in Riyadh on Wednesday too.
After pulling all the stops in anticipation of his arrival, Goa were left disappointed when Ronaldo didn’t hop on the plane for Margao.
They will hope that he jogs on to the Al -Awwal Park pitch, which would serve as a filip for the Goan players.
Not that they needed any added motivation in the first leg, when they showed a lot of spunk in a 1-2 defeat, with local boy Brison Fernandes scoring with a fine effort .
Goa coach Manolo Marquez will hope his boys can maintain that zip
