Nintendo has sold more than 10 million Nintendo Switch 2 consoles since launch in June.
The Switch 2 sales drastically outnumber purchases of the existing Switch, which has sold less than 2 million units during the same period, according to the Japanese video game giant.
As a result of this Switch 2 sales performance, Nintendo has increased its projection for sales of the Switch 2 from 15 million units to 19 million sold by the end of March 2026, which is the conclusion of Nintendo’s fiscal year. Meanwhile, Nintendo as lowered its projections for the Switch from 4.5 million for the fiscal year to 4 million.
