(Minot, ND) — A Minot foundation is giving back to the community. The Minot Area Community Foundation is awarding over 600 thousand dollars in grants to nonprofits and other organizations through its Donor Advised Funds. The foundation said this is one of the largest single rounds of distributions in their 25-year history. Over 20 organizations will receive extra support this month, including the Minot Family YMCA, Central Middle School, The Matthew 25 Project, and The Discovery Center. The Minot Area Community Foundation has distributed over 24 million dollars in grants since it was founded in 2000.
