A bridge inspection on southbound Interstate 81 in Lebanon County this week will require a daytime lane closure.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said the bridge over the Swatara Creek and Route 72 is scheduled for inspection from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 5, and Thursday, Nov. 6. The bridge is about 7.5 miles south of Exit 100 (Route 443/Pine Grove).
PennDOT said there will be a right lane restriction on southbound I-81. One travel lane will remain open each day.
Inspectors plan to examine the bridge using an inspection crane from the roadway.
