The Calgary Roughnecks training-camp list is a little light on large names — including legendary ones — ahead of the 2025-26 National Lacrosse League campaign.

No Curtis Dickson …

And no Reece Callies.

That after another tumultuous off-season for the team and the league itself.

“Oh … they’re all interesting,” said Roughnecks GM Mike Board, of the summers that seem to bring on endless challenges for the club. “This one had a collective bargaining agreement thrown in there, which sort of delayed some of the planning process for all teams.

“But we sort of anticipate things every off-season and move forward.”
