Killian Phillips is heading back to Hampden but reckons it if hadn’t been for Stephen Robinson then he would have been going back to Ireland.
The Irish international has been a standout since he moved to Paisley last season.
His crowning glory came at the weekend, as he helped the Buddies to maul Motherwell and book their place in next month’s Premier Sports Cup final against Celtic.
He moved to Drogheda United to Crystal Palace back in 2022 but his time there was spent in unconvincing loans, at the likes of Shrewsbury Town, Wycombe Wanders and Aberdeen, before Robinson stepped in.
The Buddies, initially, took him on loan and then made it a permanent move earlier this year.
