One New York City Marathon runner may not have been "Defying Gravity," but he certainly was redefining what the word endurance means.
There were countless inspirational moments during the 26.2-mile race on Sunday, including the Broadway star who pushed the limits of what it means to be an athlete and a performer.
Actor Jordan Litz crossed the finish line in Central Park in three hours and 40 minutes, with a pace of 8:26 per mile. For most, that would be more than enough to call it a day, to head home for some much-deserved rest.
But not Litz. His work wasn't done yet — in fact, he still was going to head to work.
