Gallup poll finds that fewer Americans are seeing crime as serious problem

Gallup's annual crime poll, conducted in the first half of October, found 49% of Americans think crime is increasing. That’s down from 64% a year ago and 77% two years ago. The current reading is the lowest since 2001.
