The Welsh FA have shut down talk of Craig Bellamy quitting the national team to boss Celtic. ‌

Record Sport exclusively revealed last week that Bellamy was one of the Parkhead club's top candidates to permanently replace Brendan Rodgers in the hotseat. ‌

It's understood Bellamy's name features high on a shortlist drawn up by the Hoops' head of football operations Paul Tisdale. ‌

But Welsh FA chief executive Noel Mooney has issued a hands-off warning to the Scottish champions - reminding them he's under contract until 2028 and has the World Cup in his sights.

Wales are currently third in the Group F qualification standings as the battle it out for a place in next summer's showpiece tournament.
