An Ontario woman had to sleep on her huge lottery win before it really sank in.

Brampton resident Dorothy Bradbury’s Daily Keno 10 Pick resulted in a $250,000 win in the Oct. 7, 2025, evening draw.

The 70-year-old has been playing with the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) for about 15 years and says Daily Keno is her favourite game.

She told the OLG that she likes choosing numbers that hold personal meaning, including her son’s birthday and her wedding anniversary. Those lucky lottery numbers led her to her first major win.

“My husband checked my ticket one morning and discovered the big win,” Bradbury recalled while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to collect her winnings. “He came to wake me up, saying, ‘Get up! We won!’ I initially went back to sleep for a bit because
