Ireland keeping ‘fingers crossed’ ahead of Tadhg Beirne’s disciplinary hearing tonight

Beirne was initially shown a yellow card in the third minute for an alleged dangerous tackle on Beauden Barrett before it was upgraded to a 20-minute red card. New Zealand out-half Barrett said afterwards that he didn’t believe the offence merited a red card.
