COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a stabbing that happened at Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.

RCSD said deputies were told of the incident at around 1 p.m. Monday at the jail, with the victim reportedly being stabbed in the upper body.

The sheriff’s office said the victim was treated at the jail and is back in a unit.

No further details were immediately available.
