At 10 a.m. on Tuesday, the National Weather Service issued an updated wind advisory in effect until 7 p.m. for Northern Worcester and Southern Worcester as well as Franklin, Middlesex, Essex, Hampshire, Hampden, Norfolk, Suffolk, Bristol and Plymouth counties.
The weather service says to be ready for, "Northwest winds 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 45 mph."
"Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines. Power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and some power outages may result," says the weather service. "Monitor the latest forecasts and warnings for updates.
