Bergen County officials are reassuring voters that all polling locations remain safe and open following a series of fraudulent bomb threats made to schools and polling sites early on Nov. 4, prompting a swift regional law enforcement response.
The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office said it is monitoring what appears to be an Election Day bomb threat pattern and is coordinating with local, county, state, and federal partners. Airport Rescue and Firefighting units, along with public safety teams from across the region, responded to the calls beginning early in the morning.
