Three men appeared in court Monday in connection with the fatal stabbing of a 42-year-old homeless man early Sunday at an encampment in Montreal’s Saint-Henri neighbourhood.
Police arrested the suspects shortly after the attack, which claimed the life of Manuel De Jesus Garcia Zamora.
Leam Yorth, 47, was taken into custody near the scene around 6:30 a.m. Vincent Gagné-Giard, 29, and Nigel Moses, 40, who both have prior criminal records, were arrested a short time later.

A 911 call came in around 3:20 a.m. Sunday, reporting a fight between two individuals near the intersection of Charlebois and Saint-Philippe streets, close to Place-Saint-Henri metro station in the Le Sud-Ouest borough.
