DETROIT, MI - Two Michigan men are facing federal terrorism charges after a months-long FBI investigation uncovered what officials describe as an ISIS-inspired plot to carry out a violent attack.
Federal prosecutors filed a 73-page criminal complaint detailing the allegations , which led to the men’s arrest on the last Friday of October.

1 . Federal charges allege an ISIS-inspired terrorism plot
Mohmed Ali and Majed Mahmoud, both 20, have been charged with conspiring to transfer firearms and ammunition with the knowledge they would be used to support the Islamic State group.
According to the federal complaint, the men, along with a juvenile co-conspirator, used encrypted communications to plan a violent attack in the name of ISIS.
