More than a dozen Emagine movie theaters in Michigan and the U.S. will soon be owned by a Belgian cinema chain.
Kinepolis has reached a deal to acquire 14 Emagine Entertainment locations for $105 million with the acquisition to be completed by the end of this year.
The Michigan theaters included in the agreement are located in Saginaw, Hartland, Macomb, Canton, Novi, Saline, Birch Run, Rochester Hills, and Royal Oak.
Outside of Michigan, the acquired theaters are in Geneva, WI, Noblesville and Portage, IN, and Batavia and Frankfort, IL.
