When can you hear Christmas music on the radio? Some stations have already switched format for the holiday season.
Radio Insight reports more than two dozen radio stations have started playing Christmas songs since Nov. 1, the day after Halloween. The New 96.1 (WTSS-FM) in Buffalo flipped to “Your Christmas Station” Saturday, starting with Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” at midnight.
"It is the day many people across Western New York have been waiting for, Christmas music is officially back in the 716," the Buffalo broadcaster said.
