Bihar polls: Women will get Rs 30,000 on this date if Mahagathbandhan forms govt, announces Tejashwi Yadav

Rashtriya Janata Dal leader and Mahagathbandhan's chief ministerial face Tejashwi Yadav on Tuesday (November 4) said ₹30,000 will be deposited into the accounts of women of January 14 under 'Mai Bahin Maan Yojana' if the alliance forms the government.

The announcement came just two days ahead of the first round of voting for Bihar polls on November 6.

"After we form the government, on Makar Sankranti - 14th January, we will deposit ₹30,000 for an entire year into the accounts of women under 'Mai Bahin Maan Yojana'," Tejashwi said at a media briefing.
