Stranger Things season 5 begins later this month (November 26), and the cast is speaking out about their characters ahead of the final season, revolving around character Max’s fate.

In an interview with SFX Magazine , actor Caleb McLaughlin, known for his role as Lucas Sinclair, spoke about the biggest question on everyone’s mind and which is Will Max wake up? McLaughlin addressed Lucas’s mental health during this tumultuous time and stated:

"It affects Lucas a lot this season. In season four, when all that stuff happened to Max, he thinks it’s his fault because he could have helped her . I mean, he helped her – he saved her, in a way – but I feel like he has some internal guilt that he could have stopped it, or he could have helped her more."
